• World Affairs Club

    Description:  Also known as WAC, this club is an organization designed for students who w to discuss national political issues and global events.  The club holds weekly meetings throughout the school year, providing students with a forum to debate topics using parliamentary procedure.  The club enables many to develop leadership skills.  WAC members participate in the district’s Model Congress (which will be hosted this year by CB South) and Model United Nations.  A select team will represent CB South at Academic World Quest sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.  Members also have the chance to attend, through scholarships from the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia’s educational program, seminars and speeches given by regional, national, and world leaders.
