CARES Club
Advisor: Mrs. Wilson
Description: CARE is a club here at CB South that allows members to make a strong impact on the lives of people who suffer from chronic illnesses. Members of the club can participate in various events, such as volunteering opportunities, visiting local hospitals and research centers that work with chronic illnesses, and meeting guest speakers such as oncologists, chronic illness survivors, and more. Ultimately, the purpose of CARE is to create an environment at South where people can have open discussions about their experiences with cancer, be immersed in the experiences of others with cancer, and work together as a community to try and support those going through chemotherapy.
Meetings: Second Thursday of every month in C130 during Learn 2 Marking Period 1 & 3 and during Learn 1 during Marking Period 2 & 4.
