^We are able to accommodate a variety of skill levels on our teams. Less experienced swimmers (those who meet the clinic criteria above rather than the team criteria) should participate in a clinic if possible, but may come in for team evaluations to determine if team placement would be appropriate at this time. We can accommodate brand new divers on the diving team (must be able to swim independently to ladder to get out of pool after each dive) - see criteria above in clinics section.
Please keep in mind that as with any skill, athletes who are out of practice may regress. If your swimmer has been out of the water for a period of time please consider that fact when thinking about program placement. Swimmers who wish to join a team should consider participating in our pre-team clinic even if they have been on a team before.
~If your 6-year-old child meets the criteria for team and would like to participate, contact Jennifer Steinberg at jsteinberg@cbsd.org to explore the possibility of an evaluation.
