    Novice Dive Clinic

    This clinic is for the novice diver.     The goal of this clinic is to concentrate on the mechanics of diving. The sessions will focus on step-by-step instruction to create better technique. Child must be able to swim in 12 feet of water, be able to independently swim to ladder and climb out after each dive, and be 7 years of age or older. The clinic will be three times a week for roughly 8 weeks.

    Note: This clinic is not a clinic in which we teach swimmers how to dive off of the starting blocks.


    2024 Novice Diving Clinic
    April 2 - May 18, 2024
    Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. on 4/2, 4/4, 4/8, 4/9
    Friday 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on 4/19, 4/26, 5/10, 5/17 
    Saturday 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. on 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18
    Sunday 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on 4/14, 4/21, 4/28
    $255 (payment is via credit card during online registration)
     
    **If any conflict dates due to school use arise, they will be provided as soon as known and no make-ups/refunds will be available.***
     
    Divers should wear a one-piece racing suit (not a fashion suit or swim shorts). A swim cap may be worn if desired and may be necessary for divers with long hair. Goggles are typically not used as they can impede the diver's vision while on the board and often come off upon entry into the water.

    Diving clinic participants are encouraged to attend all practices, however, the coaches understand that divers have other commitments. As long as your diver is able to attend most days we feel that it will be beneficial. Fees cannot be prorated.


    Team Extended Season Clinic

    This clinic is for     our current SAL divers who would like to continue to practice in preparation for their summer club season.

    April 2 - May 18, 2024
    Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 - 8 p.m. on 4/2, 4/4, 4/8, 4/9
    Friday 5:30 - 7 p.m. on 4/19, 4/26, 5/10, 5/17
    Saturday 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18
    Sunday 9:30 - 11 a.m. on 4/14, 4/21, 4/28
     $325 (payment is via credit card during online registration)

    Placement in the clinic is on a first-come, first-served basis and the clinic may be full prior to any specified deadlines.

    How to sign-up: 

    Divers who were CB Diving team members during the 2023-2024 season will be emailed registration instructions in December. Register online in your CB Team Unify portal (including payment) by the deadline of January 31st. No other paperwork is needed. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
     
    Divers who were NOT CB Diving team members during the 2023-2024 season must complete the pre-registration form below and email it to Jennifer Steinberg at jsteinberg@cbsd.org to find out if a spot in the clinic is available. Any spots available will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so please email the form as soon as possible to maximize your chances of being able to participate (suggested to provide form by January 31st - though this does not guarantee space will be available). Form submission deadline is March 4th.
