    2024 SPRING SWIM CLINIC
Endurance, Technique, Stroke, and Turn Swim Clinic
    at CB South High School

*4/15/2024 update: It is too late to sign-up for the 2024 clinic. Please consider our fall clinic. Information about that will be posted at this link in May/June.*

This clinic will be grouped by ability and is designed for swimmers in 8th grade and under~ who:
    • have little to no competitive swimming experience but do know all four strokes and need a little additional technique work/conditioning before being ready to join a summer swim team or our fall SAL team
    • have been a part of a competitive winter/summer team, who have a good knowledge of all four strokes, and can swim multiple laps for a solid hour
Click here for more information about required skills. Please keep in mind that as with any skill, athletes who are out of practice may regress. If your swimmer has been out of the water for a period of time please take that fact into account when considering the propriety of this clinic for your swimmer. The goal of this clinic is to concentrate on the mechanics of the four strokes as well as condition our swimmers for the upcoming summer swim team season. The session will focus on instruction and step-by-step drills to create better stroke technique.

~If your 9th grade swimmer is interested in the clinic please email Jennifer Steinberg for additional information at jsteinberg@cbsd.org. This clinic is not appropriate for swimmers in 10th grade and above.

    How to sign-up

Swimmers who were CBST-SAL members during the 2023-2024 season will be emailed registration instructions in December. Register online in your CBST Team Unify portal (including payment) by the deadline of February 28th. No other paperwork is needed. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. March 6, 2024 update: there is still room in the clinic. If you are a return member and would like to sign-up, email Jennifer Steinberg right away and not later than March 20th.

Swimmers who were NOT CBST-SAL members during the 2023-2024 season must complete the pre-registration form below and email it to Jennifer Steinberg at jsteinberg@cbsd.org to be provided with the evaluation sign-up link. The final deadline to provide a form is April 12th (or when the clinic is full) and any spots available will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis (based on when form is received) so please email the form as soon as possible to maximize your chances of having an evaluation available and the day option of your preference for the clinic sessions.
