    rocket league

    After a 6-2 regular season, the Rocket League Black team earned a trip to the national playoff tournament, featuring the top 32 teams from around the country. 

    The 26th seeded Black squad won its first match by a score of 4 games to 2 against the 7th seeded DC Falcons of Divine Child High School (UPSET ALERT!!).

    The Rocket League Black team then saw its impressive season come to an end on the last day of November, falling to Naperville North High in the round of 16 by a score of 4 matches to 1. This match was highlighted by a tightly contested game 4, which went to overtime and ultimately swung the tide in Naperville's favor.

    However, despite the setback, Rocket League Black earned an impressive final record and should be proud of its playoff performance. As the team returns all of its players for the upcoming spring season and for all of next year, the best is undoubtedly ahead for this group.
