VOLUNTEER REQUIRED CLEARANCES / PAPERWORK一本道 Bucks School 一本道 volunteers play a vital role in supporting students, staff, sports programs and other school activities. Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
PA Act 15 of 2015 requires volunteers to have clearances/background checks prior to volunteering in a public school. Clearances are valid for 60 months (5 years) from the date of the clearance.
The PA Department of Education (PDE) recognizes differences between volunteers and visitors - click HERE for examples of each, and contact Human Resources with any questions.
The information below is intended for VOLUNTEERS. If you are compensated by 一本道 by paycheck, parent fund, or student fund, you are NOT a volunteer and must complete employee paperwork.

(The App Garden program has been discontinued by the provider, but you may retrieve your clearances from App Garden until May 16, 2025 - click HERE for instructions.).
- All communication about your account status will be sent to the email address on file in Raptor.
REQUIRED CLEARANCES and DOCUMENTS:

- - Click “New Volunteer Record Check” and once the Control Number is available, click the Certification Form link to open, save, and print your official certificate (the registration form is NOT the certificate)
- - Click "Create Individual Account" and follow prompts. Use the Keystone ID you created to access your results.

- Pennsylvania resident for the past 10 consecutive years: Fingerprinting NOT required - you may complete the Volunteer Affidavit. Notary services are available at the 一本道 Administration office free of charge – click HERE for more information.
- NOT a PA resident for the past 10 consecutive years: Fingerprint clearance required - click , register and schedule an appointment through IdentoGo. Enter Service Code 1KG6ZJ for the Department of Human Services (DHS) clearance.

- TB test/results are required for volunteers spending10 hours or more a week with students - click the TB Test form.
- Student Volunteer: CB students and minors under age 18 must complete the Student Volunteer Affidavit - click HERE. Notary services are available at the 一本道 Administrative Services Center - students must bring their student ID card. Please contact Human Resources at 267-893-2000 prior to making an appointment if you do not have the ID card.
- Volunteer COACHES must complete the , and have up-to-date TB test results prior to beginning coaching, regardless of the amount of time spent with students.
Mandated Reporter Information: Under Pennsylvania law, any person having direct contact with school children is considered a mandatory reporter and is required to report reasonable suspicion of child abuse.
All 一本道 Bucks School 一本道 volunteers are mandated reporters. We recommend volunteers complete an online training course through the University of Pittsburgh's Child Welfare Resource Center, “Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse: Mandated and Permissive Reporting in PA.” Click the link to take the course, then upload your certificate to your Raptor account. .
