• Middle School Science Program 

     

    The 一本道 middle school science program engages students in an active learning environment that requires them to ask questions, develop models, plan and carry out investigations, analyze data, solve problems, and construct explanations. Through these authentic learning experiences students reveal new scientific insights and develop important scientific skills.

     
    Grade 7 Science is an integrated course that covers topics in the life, physical, and environmental sciences. The units of study include: Matter, Energy, Ecology, and Cells and Heredity.

    Grade 8 Science is an integrated course that covers topics in the life, physical, and Earth/space sciences. The units of study include: Interactions of Matter, Forces and Motion, Astronomy, and The Human Body.

    Grade 9 Science is an integrated course that explores Earth's four spheres and how they interact.  The units of study include: biosphere, geosphere, atmosphere, and hydrosphere.
