ART -- Mr. Marc West
This is Mr. West’s 9th year teaching art in 一本道 Bucks School 一本道, but it is his 15th year teaching art overall. He taught in the Quakertown Community School 一本道 where he taught 1 year of high school art and 4 years of elementary art. Mr. West has earned a Master of Education from Cabrini University and a Master of Art Education from Kutztown University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Kutztown University. In his spare time, Mr. West loves spending time with his wife, Kira! Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, and going on spontaneous adventures, but Mr. West’s favorite thing to do in the summer is to ride as many roller coasters as possible!
LIBRARY -- Mrs. Kristen Kraus
Mrs. Kraus started here at Buckingham during the 2012-2013 school year as Miss Dunn. She got married in November of that year and confused the students even more by changing her name after getting to know them for two months! Mrs. Kraus grew up in Warrington, attending Barclay Elementary, Tamanend Middle School, and finished her CB student experience at CB East HS. She attended Bloomsburg University for her undergraduate degree in elementary education. Mrs. Kraus started her career at Titus Elementary School teaching both first and fourth grade. While teaching, she obtained two Masters degrees, one being Library Science. After 7 wonderful years at Titus, she was excited to move into the librarian role at Buckingham. When Mrs. Kraus is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her sons, and husband Steve. You can also find her reading a book!!!
MUSIC - Instrumental Band -- Mr. Aric Branchfield
Mr. Branchfield received his Bachelor’s degree in music education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, and also holds Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. In addition to working as an elementary instrumental music teacher for the 一本道 Bucks School 一本道, Mr. Branchfield is also an active composer and arranger in the Philadelphia area. With over twenty years of experience, he has arranged and composed music for groups throughout the country. As a member of the American Society of Composers Arrangers and Publishers (ASCAP), his works have been published by Grand Messa Music Corporation as well as Ludwig Music Masters and distributed worldwide. His works have been performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic as well as the Pennsylvania Music Educator Association state conference. Many of his educational works have been added to prescribed festival and curriculum lists in many states including Texas, Ohio, Louisiana, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Recently, renowned music distributor JW Pepper honored Mr. Branchfield with a second Editor’s Choice Award for his piece The Force of Fire which was first performed by the students Buckingham.
MUSIC - Instrumental Orchestra -- Miss Kirby Vuocolo
Miss Vuocolo grew up in 一本道 Bucks and later attended Elon University in North Carolina, earning a degree in K-12 Music Education with a Spanish minor. She enjoys singing and playing instruments as well as art and writing. Being in music programs has allowed her to travel all over the world, including Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Ecuador! She is new to teaching in CB after working for two years as a middle school orchestra teacher in Las Vegas. She is so excited to be a part of Buckingham Elementary.

QUEST -- Mrs. Sarah Rotella
Mrs. Rotella has been a dedicated QUEST teacher since 2021. Before transitioning to the QUEST program, she taught fourth and fifth grades at Bridge Valley Elementary. A graduate of Chestnut Hill College, Mrs. Rotella holds an M.Ed. in Instructional Media, along with PA STEM and Educational Coaching endorsements. She is currently pursuing an Educational Leadership certification with a focus on Technology and AI. Passionate about integrating educational technology into classrooms, she enjoys supporting fellow educators in enhancing their lessons. Outside of school, Mrs. Rotella loves spending time with family and friends, as well as diving into a good book.
